The second weekend of the preseason comes along and there's a total of 19 games Friday through Sunday. Some teams win by a lot and some by a small margin of a goal, let's see who won these 3 days.
The Nashville Predatos beat the Lightning back to back with this game, winning 7-1. The lone scorer for the Florida team was Brandon Hagel. Both Matt Duchene and Tanner Jeannot score twice, Alexandre, Colton Sissons and Zach Sanfrof score for Nashville. New Jersey Devils lose to the New York Rangers 2-1. Jack Hughes for the Devils and Artemi Panarin and K'Andre Miller for the Rangers.
Toronto won 6-3 against the Ottowa Senators; Nicholas Robertson scored 2 goals, Nicolas Aube-Kubel, Victor Mete, Denis Malgin, and Justin Holl scored the Toronto Goals and Parker Kelly, Drake Batherson and Angus Crookshank scored the Ottowa Goals. The Capitals Won 2-0 against the Wings, with only John Carlson and Lars Eller scoring. The Edmenton Oilers won 2-1 against the Flames, which only Dillon Dube scored and for the Oilers, Leon Draisaitl and Brett Kulak scored.
The Anahiem Ducks also win Friday night against the San Jose Sharks with a final of 4-1. Logan Couture was the only goal scorer for the Sharks but Derek Grant, Max Comtois, Frank Vatrano and Nathan Beaulieu score for the Ducks. Another half of the Sharks team beat the Vegas Golden Knights 7-3. Danil Gushcin scores a hat trick, Erik Karlsson, Matt Benning, Matt Jonah Gadjovich and Luke Kunin score for San Jose while Jack Eichel scores two goals, and Reilly Smith scores one for Las Vegas.
Sunday Night comes and the Carolina Hurricanes win by a goal, 4-3 against the Florida Panther. Brent Burns scored two goals, Andrei Svechnikov, and Martin Necas scored for the Hurricanes and Rudolfs Balcers, Ryan Lomberg and Zac Dalpe scored for the panthers. Bruins went 4-0 And both Marc McLaughlin and John Beecher had two goal each, back to back. Pittsburgh fell against Buffalo 3-2 with only Drake Caggiula scoring for them and then Victor Olofsson, Tage Thompson and Jack Quinn scored for Buffalo.
Senators take it in over time, 5-4, against the Canadiens. Jake Evans is the only one to score two goals for the Montreal team and the Rem Pitlick and Justin Barron scored the other two. Alex DeBricant scored two goals, one the game winner as well as Shane Pinto and Mathieu Joseph scored one goal for Ottowa. The Blue Jackets beat the Capitals 2-1. Aliaksei Protas scores for the Capitals while Carsen Meyer and Yegor Chinakhov score for the Blue Jackets. Dallas wins 5-2 against St. Louis. While Jacob Peterson, Mason Marchment and Ryan Shea score 3 goals going unresponded, Pavel Buchnevich interrupts the Dallas streak, but Wyatt Johnston comes back with another Dallas goal and Fredrick dumps the last Blues goal before Logan Brown scores the winner for the Texas team.
Edmenton Oilers win it in a shootout against the Winnipeg Jets. The four goals scored in regulation were scored 2 by Cole Perfetti on the Jets and Tyler Benson and Jason Demers on the Oilers. Shootout went 1-1 Oilers and 0-3 Jets. Detroit score 3 goals against the Hawks and won 3-0. Jakub Vrana, Dylan Larkin and Lucas Raymond scored that game. The Kraken also score 4 goals with no response from the Vancouver Canucks giving them a win. Two goals from Yanni Hourde and one from Matt Beniers as well as Alex Wennberg.
Only 3 games Sunday evening and the first was won by the Islanders 2-1. The one goal for the Flyers was for Tony Deangelo and the two for the Islanders were by Kyle Palmieri and Scott Meyfield. Minnesota goes 3-0 against Chicago, Connor Dewar, Matt Boldy and Brandon Duhaime scoring the three goals. LA wins the last game 2-1 against Anaheim. Rocco Grimaldi for the Ducks and Adrian Kempe and Arthur kaliyev for the Kings.
